The time has come. The order has been given and the first payment has been made. The project is ready for kick-off! You call your colleagues from Engineering, Sales and Production together in the meeting room. It concerns the order for a Track-Truck, which you at A.P. van den Berg are extremely proud of. It is for a new customer from England. “They have every confidence in us, so let’s make sure together that we exceed their expectations,” you encourage them. After all, as Project Manager, it’s up to you to make sure that all disciplines work well together over the next few months for the very best results.
In recent weeks, you have also been working on a WISON-APB for offshore soil survey for a client based in Singapore. You noticed that there had been some delays, which you discussed within the team. Upon inquiry today, one of your colleagues says, “We have made more progress than expected, which allowed us to make up some time.” What good news!
You get a lot of energy from accomplishing project goals together. Every time the results become visible, you realize once again that you are right at home at A.P. van den Berg.
